Have you ever known you need to be more productive, but didn’t know where to start?

You just know in your gut that term paper due next week is more important than watching the latest episode of OITNB (okay, maybe you don’t. But it is) and yet you still can’t find it in you to turn off Netflix and start your to do list.

That was me. It still is me sometimes.  

I used to be the worst at keeping organized and on track. I’ll be sitting here, working on my blog- oooh look! My pinterest roundup is ready!-

See what I mean?

It sucks.

So, I’m going to tell you what you can do to become more productive without your to-do list consuming your entire life, ultimately improving results in less time!


How you can be more productive

Download the TimeTree app- This calendar app is literally a life saver! Available on IOS and Android, TimeTree allows you to assign different task categories to colors so you have a general idea of what the day has in store for you!

It also allows you to choose when to get notified for the task at hand. For example, I choose to get notified for appointments 1 day, 1 hour, and 30 minutes before so I don’t forget when to leave.  

Another thing I love about TimeTree is that you can create more than one calendar and share it with family and friends to collaborate schedules. Here’s a few snapshots so you get the idea.

Create a morning routine- I’m sure you read or hear this all the time, but that’s because it’s true! You can read about my morning routine and how it’s helped me with anxiety, stress and productivity here. And there’s a page for creating a routine in my free workbook.

Use the Time Batching worksheet from Holly Casto! This worksheet gives you a list of categories with sample tasks that you can put into days of the week and times of the day. I find this to be super helpful since there’s always so much I have to do.
