Okay guys, I’ve been obsessed with holistic health lately. I’m buying air purifying plants, working out, buying fresh produce from the local farmers market, giving myself more aromatherapy spa days, and learning to appreciate my body by giving it what it needs, when it needs it. Which is why I want to talk to you about the benefits of Himalayan salt lamps.
Going green seems so hard to do. It seems out of reach. It seems as though you can’t find ways to be green while saving money. Okay, well, stop with the seeming and doubting. Going green can and will save you money. Here’s some ways you can save some money while saving the planet! (I’ve already ordered some of these, and will write a post in the future about how much savings I’ve had)

Learn all about the five things you should be doing to maximize productivity.
Have you ever known you need to be more productive, but didn’t know where to start?
You just know in your gut that term paper due next week is more important than watching the latest episode of OITNB (okay, maybe you don’t. But it is) and yet you still can’t find it in you to turn off Netflix and start your to do list.
That was me. It still is me sometimes.
I used to be the worst at keeping organized and on track. I’ll be sitting here, working on my blog- oooh look! My pinterest roundup is ready!-
See what I mean?
So, I’m going to tell you what you can do to become more productive without your to-do list consuming your entire life, ultimately improving results in less time!
How you can be more productive
Download the TimeTree app- This calendar app is literally a life saver! Available on IOS and Android, TimeTree allows you to assign different task categories to colors so you have a general idea of what the day has in store for you!
It also allows you to choose when to get notified for the task at hand. For example, I choose to get notified for appointments 1 day, 1 hour, and 30 minutes before so I don’t forget when to leave.
Another thing I love about TimeTree is that you can create more than one calendar and share it with family and friends to collaborate schedules. Here’s a few snapshots so you get the idea.
Create a morning routine- I’m sure you read or hear this all the time, but that’s because it’s true! You can read about my morning routine and how it’s helped me with anxiety, stress and productivity here. And there’s a page for creating a routine in my free workbook.
Use the Time Batching worksheet from Holly Casto! This worksheet gives you a list of categories with sample tasks that you can put into days of the week and times of the day. I find this to be super helpful since there’s always so much I have to do.
Get my FREE productivity workbook. The Staying On Track Workbook allows you to stay accountable by having you write down your goals, prioritize your tasks, create a routine, and comes with a monthly and weekly calendar!
These are my favorite ways to keep myself productive! I hope these work for you, too!

I’m loving this picture of Saint Basil’s Cathedral with the ever-so-adorable Jaydestriking a pose in front of it! Everything about this picture is whimsical and stunning. Although all of her pictures are beautiful, this one is my absolute favorite so far! Moscow has always been on my bucket list, and I can’t wait for the day I visit.

Giada Meoni wears this beautiful ensemble from Chi Chi Clothing and slays! 💁🏼♀️ She’s so naturally beautiful and this gorgeous dress sends her look over the edge (in the best way!)
Heather’s nursery itself can give you baby fever! I mean, look how perfect it is! I especially love how the simplicity of the changing cushion on the dresser doubles- so you can use it just as a dresser later on when they stop wearing diapers! Super savings!
This No Bake Summer Berry Lasagna is a perfect treat for all US themed holidays. I know 4th July is over, but a lot of parties are over the weekend, right? Find the recipehere!

Here’s my weekly favs for June 6, 2018!! I hope you’ve enjoyed the read. Comment your thoughts below and let’s connect!
Hey you! You’re probably here because you need some tips on embracing a positive life! You’ve been reading blog posts that have the same points: Keeping a gratitude journal, drinking more water, etc. And while those suggestions are great ideas, I think it’s time we kick things up a notch.
Here, i’ll tell you about three things with big impacts that you can do to start living your most elevated life!
What’s your favourite city? I’ve lived in the United Kingdom for two years, and in that time, I’ve had a lot of time to explore, but London is my favourite place. No matter how many times you go or have been, you will never be done exploring! I’m 100% obsessed. Maybe it’s because I’m from a small town, or maybe I like taking day trips too much. (Let’s be honest, it’s probably both). Anyhoo, let’s dive in to my top 11 favourite things to do in London!
The Shard- I like to think of it as the “Eiffel Tower of London” because from the top you can see aerial views of the beauty and fun this city has to offer. Complete with restaurants and bars on every floor, it is probably wise to book a reservation to eat here, as the views are unbeatable and everybody knows it. (Have lunch at Duck and Waffle, you won’t regret it!)
A boat ride on the River Thames– This relaxing river boat ride is only 15 pounds and takes you on a calm sightseeing tour. So kick up your feet as you see the sights and people watch!
Shop on Oxford Street– If your a “shop-till-you-drop” type (guilty) Oxford Street is for you. Tons of shops and beautiful architecture!
Persephone Books– A bookstore for feminists, this quaint little bookshop features out-of-print works by neglected female writers of the 20th century. I was in awe of the stacks of books this shop has, and my favourite book from there so far is Flaneuse: Women Walk the City by Lauren Elkin
Strongroom Bar in Shoreditch– This amazing bar has the BEST loaded fries and burgers, their house bourbon is to die for (coming from someone who doesn’t really like alcohol) and they even have themed nights throughout the week. The best is, in my opinion, “#WhiskeyWeds” where their whiskey is sold at a discounted rate! Check out their instagram here!
Macaroons at Laduree– A french patisserie in the Piccadilly Arcade, Laduree features the best Macaroons you’ll probably ever have. My top two are their Rose Petal flavor and their Salted Caramel.
M&M World– Three.Whole.Stories. Of M&M flavors that are ONLY in the factory. Need I say more?!
The IMAX in Leicester Square– This movie theatre was amazing, and they have a bar. Perfect for duos who want a semi-introverted outing but one tends to like to let loose. Best of both worlds!
Buckingham Palace- This Regal castle is a definite must-see sight! I fell in love with it IMMEDIATELY. You can also experience the Changing of the Guards in the springtime.
Nostegia– A food truck serving bubble waffles and bubble tea, Nostegia is, by far, my all time favourite sweet stop in London.
Imperial War Museum– If you’re a huge war history buff like my husband, or just like to look at cool stuff (like me), do your inner historian a favour by visiting this massive museum.
Those are my 11 “must dos” in London so far! I hope you find the time to go to this fabulous city and do some of these things! Don’t forget to let me know your favourite city and your favourite things to do there in the comment section! Here’s some pictures from my recent London trips! Enjoy!
Hey pretty! If your life is anything like mine, it’s chaotic. It’s overwhelming, it’s exhausting, but sometimes it can be fun! I can’t stand sitting around all day. My life at home, my job, my dog, and my husband all keep me busy and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I may like it, BUT that doesn’t mean I don’t get stressed or that I don’t need some “me” time.
